| Thank you very much for including us in the Christmas Mother gift donations. Everyone here is enjoyiing the gifts I picked for them. I think the football game and bicycle are the winners-B... is not happy he has to wear a helmet but he will.
Jordan, my volunteer, cheered me on and gave her approvals at each stop. My thanks to her. All the volunteers at each table were helpful and seemed interested in their items to give.
Your whole operation spoke of kindness and hands reaching out for the children. It was fun for me exceeded only by the smilies and cheers of our six kids on Christmas morning.

How We Use Your Donation
Henrico Christmas Mother is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Our super volunteer shoppers work all year long searching out the best products at the best prices so our neighbors in need have the best selection possible when they shop our warehouse for new clothes, books, toys and gifts in December.
Your donation today might purchase the perfect bedtime storybook for a mom to read to her toddler or an exciting adventure chapter book for a budding reader. It might buy a new blanket to keep a senior warm on a cold winter night or new pajamas to wear on Christmas morning. Your donation might provide a cool Lego set for a future engineer, or art supplies for an aspiring designer. Or it might help keep a family tradition alive by providing a food gift card that is used to purchase the ingredients for a special meal.

Henrico Christmas Mother participates in the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), which was created in 1981 "to encourage private sector involvement in the alleviation of poverty in Virginia." You may receive a 65% Virginia state tax credit with a qualifying donation of $500 or more as an individual or $616 or more as a business. Credits are available on a first come, first served basis as they are received, and there is a limited supply.
